“Steel House“ is a custom-made space designed to satisfy the client’s dreams: it’s a luxurious villa set in the venetian countryside, that combine together wellness, aesthetic and functionality. The aesthetic aspect well dialogues with the environment, drawing light shapes and bright spaces relating with the outdoor. The building has only one level which faces the garden and the swimming pool. The large windows let light and air come into the building and let people live in continuity both internal and external places during summertime. The porch holds an external living room with a fireplace, for barbeque and party moments.
Every single elements, such as the inner fireplace, is designed for the client, a very skilled smith native of Veneto, who crafted on his own, so why this house has been named “Steel House”. A flat roof has been set in order to minimize the impact on the landscape and in the meanwhile in order to hold the solar and photovoltaic panels, which made this house self-supporting form energetic point of view. This is a successful example demonstrating how contemporary architecture is able to integrate with every urban contest, improving and respecting the landscape.
