Article source: Paolo Carli Moretti Architetto Private residence located in the suburb of Forlì in a completely residential area. The building merges with the context, making it more introspective.
Horizontal and vertical linear elements and fundamental geometries have characterized the main choices since the beginning. The aim was to obtain a simple and clear structure, mindful of the rapid exhaustion of practical reason. The living area is characterized by the presence of a double-height space, a space which is denied to access. A vertical partition separates the functional areas and connects visually in vertical all the levels of the house. Double openings, between all the areas, allow to go along all the living room with continuity, avoiding backward paths with the possibility to observe all the various elements from different points of view. A wide opening on the garden is on a patio with wood floor. It represents an external volume defined by a concrete frame. The study area, near the entrance, is characterize by an opening with a corner shape that is oriented to enhance the direct light of the morning. On the first floor, there are the master bedroom and two other bedrooms, all characterized by personal wardrobe and private bathroom. From the master bedroom it is possible to observe the lower floor, through an open corner protected by mirror glasses. The guest suite, characterized by a living area and two bedrooms, is located above the garage. It can be reach independently through a panoramic lift.
