This was the chosen element to present a bold architectural concept opposed to the mainstream concrete urban landscape of São Paulo. PedraFaria Lima Building brings the roughness of natural elements while dialogues with the first human habitation units.
PedraFaria Lima is an outstanding project in São Paulosky line not only for its appearance but also for its volumes quite different from the straight and rectangular conventional buildings. The tower is asymmetric with several volumes that alternate their projections on the ground. Outside the building,it can be seen clearly where each unit type is located. The upper half of the tower has volumes that exceed the projection of the basis in the longitudinal direction so that structural balance has a parallel design with visual harmony. São Paulo, as the main cities in the world, suffers from an increasing demand for flexible housing. Childless couples, singles and young entrepreneurs area growing community that no longer finds its needs supplied in recent architecture from the last three decades. Contemporary architecture therefore needs a reinvention to meet this real demand. The project PedraFaria Lima just operates in this segment, offering loft units from 48m² to apartments of up to two suites of 138m². The spacious balconies emphasize one of the best qualities of vertical architecture: the view. Contact PSA Arquitetura
