Nursing home and social housing in Paris, France by aasb_agence d’architecture suzelbrout
The territory of the Zac Clichy-Batignolles was conquered on the railway lines of the Gare Saint-Lazare, transforming it into a new neighborhood around the Martin-Luther-King Park and the future TGI.
The City of Paris and Paris Batignolles Aménagement entrusted the realization of the macrolot E10 to a group of operators formed by SNI with Maast studio (E10A) and Paris Habitat OPH with aasb and TOA (E10B). The E10B2 block is a mixed program including social housing, a nursing home, a commercial area and a shared parking.
It overtakes the limits of the ZAC to associate neighboring buildings and the “Framboisine”, a technical area of the Martin-Luther-King Park in a “figure urbano-paysagère” fited into the city.
So, the project proposes to solve the equation: 1 + 1 + 1 = 1.
E10B2. Paris-Habitat. aasb_agence d’architecture suzelbrout. Nursing home with 100 beds and 18 apartments
The project takes place between the two housing projects. It fixes the nursing home on the first four levels and pose above the differentiated volume of five levels apartments.
The construction uses smooth prefabricated walls with wood window frame for the nursing home; and textured concrete with anodized aluminum shutters and window frame for the apartments.
