Article source: Studio Zero85 The design of this building is part of the typological experimentation of a model of residential settlement. The idea behind the project is the search for a development distribution that can return to the people the highest degree of privacy allowed by a residential unit.
The building has been split into three physically different units, where the impression is of “living in an isolated house.” The individual units – separated and without common walls – are recomposed through the gallery of access into a single architecture, a sort of architectural structure, articulated for the position and facing. Prospectuses, in fact, are always different for both the arrangement of the building and for the composition of open and closed spaces, where we can see the great diversity of the areas day – very open to the outside through large windows, loggias, balconies and bow- window – and sleeping areas much more intimate. In the overall image, the building – despite its clean geometric and rigorous in its white color – presents glimpses always different and, in some, recalls suggestions Mediterranean.
