Project of street food pavilion Food BOX was designed by Elena Ostapova to contest [BERLIN] Gourmet Street Food, agencies Architectural KompetitionConcoursd’Architecture in 2015.

The prototype of concept served as a cardboard box. Verge box are transformed.

In finishing of the pavilion used materials of secondary processing  such as plywood – walls, plastic – roof, cardboard – litter bins.

As well as eco-friendly materials: wood – sliding walls, mobile tables, interior trim, glass – walls.

The basis of the construction of the pavilion metal frame.

Sliding doors are made of wooden slats. Mini tables can be inserted in the space between the slats  for customers of food that you can eat comfortably. When the pavilion is closed, the table is removed.

Highlighted the roof of the pavilion. It represents the edge of the box deflected. From the outside it’s light installation, a bas-relief of the triangles and trapezoids. LEDs in the slot, shimmering shades.

On the inner side of the these elements of  roof  are placed Solar batteries that provide power to complete the work of the pavilion.
