This house is a block in a row house in the expensive New Urban area, but now seem to be neglected after the economic crisis in Vietnam.
The old balconies at both end of the house are skinned with ventilation brick block, Inside this skin is the green space for rain, wind and sunlight to shine through.
This in a way can be seen as a cocoon, where we still have access to nature but also appreciated the security factor.
