This facade, developed by the architectural firm Philippon – Kalt, is what defines the project:it covers both buildings, following their lines and developments, becomes a sliding shutter over the windows and is partially broken off in front of the terraces.

It is lightweight and thin, just 30 cm thick, and brings together industrial components:cladding panels and steel subframes with wooden covering.

The building’s bioclimatic design(compact, very high thermal efficiency insulated façade, good solar heating) has made it possible to go beyond the Effinergie + label requirements, with a gain of 45% over the Bbio Max.

The project, in Choisy-le-Roi, Val de Marne, is part of an urban regeneration scheme in the Briand-Pelloutier district, created by the Groupe Valophis, developer and contracting firm; in the long term the project will include 375 housing units plus retail units.
