Grand Hotel Courmayeur Mont Blanc arises from a clear project idea: to integrate a contemporary architecture in a charming and suggestive landscape respecting the traditions and materials of the location.

4 chalets, each one covered by a pitched roof with sheets and local materials as wood and stone for the facades that well combine with the glass windows of the main chalet. The north side looks onto Mont Blanc and Breva glacier and the south one onto the forest and Courmayeur.

Our project of interiors of this five-star hotel starts from the same architectural points of the exteriors, thus from the relation between tradition and contemporaneity according to the most innovative standards of a luxury hotel.

The 72 rooms express comfort and care to details through the simple area settlement and rationalization warmed up by local materials as wood and stone. The warmth and peace expressed by those materials well balance with the landscape, which demands respect and sobriety, and well invite guests to listen to nature.

The Club House is the main common area of the hotel and develops on three floors. The guest on his arrival can perceive the building volume looking up thanks to the triple height area at the hall entrance.

Restaurant, American bar and reception dialogue through this vertical space defined by a wood stair. A lively area at every hour: in the morning for a breakfast in the veranda, at lunch in the American bar on the first floor where guests can relax with a drink after the dinner at the restaurant on the third floor. A warm and cocoon-like environment in front of the white mountain.
