Article source: Pepe Gascón arquitectura A home that tries to challenge typologies and traditional ways of living. Simple yet complex, it looks fully opened to the landscape in one of its façades, while the other façade is seen more hermetic to ensure its privacy.
The program of the house is broken in plan and section, and the yard is acting as the articulating element between all the rooms. The home is provided of double height open spaces, with a rich game of crossed views between the patio and the interior, as well as the exterior. A home with a subtle and rich relationship between interior and exterior, in which the fragmentation of their program (horizontally and vertically) offers the user different spatial experiences, new ways of living. It is a projected housing in line with the scale and character of its urban context that attempts to challenge typologies and traditional ways of living . It involves the expansion of a building located on a site overlooking two streets ; close with tall buildings and low light , and another wide , bright and offers visual depth. Both simple and complex , the housing shown fully open the landscape in a facade , and the other sealingly . The housing program is divided in plan and section , giving prominence to the yard as element articulator of its different rooms . Thus, the housing offers a rich visual set of double heights, mezzanines , External visual and patio as well as visual crosses, achieving great fluidity between interior and exterior the same. The finishes are sober , trying to magnify the architecture and views. A façade panels Prodema and shows tight. Instead, the other is fully glazed , filtered through a mesh of deployé with vertical uprights of rectangular tube.
