Article source: Mohamed Keilani Architects The apartment, located in one of the most historic areas of Rome, is on the third floor of a small building near Via Giulia in Rome. The design was based from the beginning on the valorization of the hall, the wooden beams, brick walls, characteristic features of Roman history, that had been hidden by the various processes that have occurred over the years. I have discover them and combined with the use of natural and warm materials, with a stylish contemporary furniture and with a particular lighting design which was specially developed with the Lebanese society PSLAB. The custom furniture is another important skill in the project, I wanted as much as possible to disguise everyday objects (dining table, chairs or TV using a special mirror designed specifically for the client) in order to make it more minimal space, a Roman antique container adequate for contemporary furnishings, a neon sign and artwork including point out the abstract sculpture of Keilani Salah and \”Studio sul movimento\” by Danilo Bucchi.
