This house is situated in a town surrounded by mountains. We designed a white box where light and wind go through. The image was shining white box where residents would live feeling the transition of light and shadow with letting go of their mind.
We intended to design a interior space where they would feel the nature such as light, wind, and rain. We want to design a living space where inner space mix with outer space and these mixing spaces would respond to the city.
We inserted an outer terrace to bring nature to the inner space. Light from the terrace would go through rooms in the 2nd floor and living room in the 1st floor via void.Top light and light from the terrace and would crushed by the walls would pour in to the living room. These light would express transitional beauty.
Terrace in the 2nd floor functions as a central plaza of life, corridors around the terrace are vigorous spaces with light and shadow. Stair would become a tower of light taking light from the terrace.
Rooms would mix with nature of the terrace and of the garden. Nature and the architecture stimulating with each other, spaces of rooms expand to infinity.
