Article source: 2AMV Arhitekti A modern family house positioned on a hill in the idyllic countryside of Ljubljana, Slovenia. It offers its owners a fabulous view of the nearby Village of Horjul on its north side, and panoramic views of the farmland in the south. It’s organized so that the living area is in the top level with the larch-wood terrace providing shade in the south. The sleeping quarters are in the partially underground fool level connected the outside area. Exactly this connection of the internal functions of the house and the hillside was the main goal of the design team 2AMV Arhitekti. This is also prominent in the way the garage is cut into the hill.
