Box house is a conceptual project that experiments with a new way to occupation of the space and form,
It has born under the concept of pool house; which contains two bedrooms, a social bathroom, a small service area and a gourmet place. Worked less than 65 square meters.
The volume was created as a concrete box, with enough personality, the entries of the box are marked with a rusty steel form, inside the building we have try to use a very fun mix of textures, colors and Brazilian design furniture with the firms of Marcus Ferreira, Paulo Alves, Aristeu Pires, and another big names.
The owner of the house is a young professional, single and ready to begin life with a lot of style.
1:1 represents the real scale space, for us the architecture is more than the limited space, it is a story, a life, a family, a concept, a thought, an intention , the city’s architecture and the woman is the man. Our architecture concept is real and has history.
The mixture of experience and young spirit with advanced studies allows our designs are bold, free, but they can be realized, it talk about stories, scenes or thoughts free from technological limitations, building lighting, volumes, flow, depth, contrast, hierarchy and even psychology.
In the design process we use jazz, deep house, blues, opera, tango, wine, martini, retro film, wood, stone, Corten steel, travel, souvenirs, rocks, visual, rain, European literature, vintage clothing, telegraphs and even ceramics as inspiration …
We do not care combine to make sense or have a defined style … we are concerned with the quality, concept, perfection, experiences, sensations and emotions instigated by our architecture!!
If we were to describe our style of our architecture … we would say that it is real.
