This is a project that combines the rough and the delicate. The designers reserve the original cement ceiling and from which starts the design of the whole project. This house equipped with a broad window view, so the beautiful city skyline has been taken into consideration. Based on the precious condition of the beautiful view and the natural illumination, the layouts of the spaces were reconceived. Furthermore, traffic flows were smoothly arranged to provide diverse look of common areas and private rooms.

The function of the kitchen island are deliberately divided into two parts: one side face to the cabinet is used as cooking light meals and the other side face to the living room can be used as a dining area, a bar for recreation. The interesting position of the kitchen island increase interactions between people in the house. Behind the kitchen island is a customized trellis glass case in which displayed the boy’s Lego collection. The concept of sofa arrangement is similar to that of Lego; the users can piece together each sofa at will. By doing so, the house owners can change the position according to their daily activities, enjoying every moment at home.
