Article source: Werner Sobek Group The fully detached, 750 m² single-family home is located not far from the town of Yssingeaux in the Massif Central region of France. The ground floor of the house nestles against the slope. Although it has very few openings to the outside world, the interior rooms on this level are filled with natural light via the patio – a generously dimensioned glass-enclosed inner courtyard. The swimming pool, various guest rooms, the study and the owner‘s archive are situated on the ground floor, while the living quarters, dining area and bedrooms are all accommodated on the transparent top floor of the house. From the design of the patio to the diverse coalescing views and accessibility options, Y1 bonds with the landscape in every way.
