Article source: Taller Proyectual A line in the horizon submerged between the imposing Pyrenees, a line undercut in the immensity of the mountains, a line embedded in the landscape that finishes an extension of the mountain range and that in turn acts like the public space, as a place between mountains, as an observatory of the mountain chain that envelops the tiny principality of Andorra, a line that emerges from the rocks and becomes a vain that frames an untamed nature and turns it into landscape and endows weightlessness to the humanized space, a space that connects the exterior with the interior and culminates in surface, a surface that is a nucleus of cultural and urban events, such as sports whose practice is one of the most representative manifestations of the human being.
Andorra has unsuccessfully sought to host the Winter Olympics but has failed because it did not have the infrastructure to harbor that event. Given its privileged location in the middle of the Pyrenees, the principality is an interesting alternative to host in the near future.
