Article source: STUDIO OIKOS Located in the historical center of Milan, this apartment lays on the last floor of a building of the first years of the 20th century. Originally used as a storage space, the roof has been lifted to give habitability and increase insulation and noise reduction. The apartment has a small terrace and has a great view on the old Milan roofing skyline.
The modern cut goes in contrast with the old building, wide living spaces have been achieved with the new roofing. The kitchen is openable, through a double sliding door, on the dining/living space creating a one big loft facing on the terrace. Colors have been choose on the scale of grey-light brown with small dots of colors in wallpaper, sofas and lights. Three bedrooms with three bathrooms give at the flat a generous living space.
