The DUCHI CAFE Project, born at a suggestive point in the city of Verona, exactly where there was the cloister of the Church of San Fermo (1200 – 1500 DC).
The masonry, the wooden ceilings are original in the period and even the frescoes date back to 1200 and 1500 DC.
We wanted to create a contrast between the historicity of the building and the sophistication of the materials, creating a Deco industrial style, using the original 30-year-old Sicilian cements, to dress the bench; Chandeliers, original deco appliqués 30 years old.
Bordeaux, Ottanio and emerald velvets, along with French colors, rusts and oak, complement the idea of abstract architecture, yet elegant and refined at the same time.
