Article source: BEARprogetti The Architect designed the groundfloor of this 70’s wood and stones chalet to allow a young freelancer’s dreams coming true looking for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle that will restore his energies. In this, as in many other BEAR signed projects, all the furnishings were designed by the architect and skillfully made by the team of local craftsmen who joined the Studio.  Image Courtesy © Andrea Pozzi The strength of the whole house lies in the attention devoted to the enhancement of the scenery that nature offers. The architect has in fact been able to exploit and amplify the magnificence of the landscape through the large windows, creating amazing “living pictures”. The chalet is definitely characterized by the imposing presence of larch wood. Wherever our eyes are directed we can admire the sourced locally wood. The ceiling, the floor and even the walls characterize the space through an enveloping chromatic and structural continuity. In the living room a comfortable dark sofa stands in contrast with the walls and an original revisited table made of iron and reclaimed wood leaves us to guess the design style that characterizes the house. The passage areas are highlighted by the color and material changingof the ceiling. The near kitchen is defined by a small closed space that overlooks the dining room through a large glass sliding door placed on the breakfast table.
