The omnibus depot is a facility for public transport buses in the German capital Berlin, in the district of Britz. 220 buses are located on an area of 44 500 square meters. The depot opened in 1910 as a tram depot. As usual at these times, the staff was housed on the site in service apartments.

The current building was built by Jean Krämer in 1925/1926 and modified in 1928 to 1933.

Together with the residential area near the depot, the complex is on the list of cultural monuments in Berlin-Britz.

The german architectural office BauWerke planned the rehabilitation and redevelopment of the interior. A special redesign was established in the lunch area with high quality joinery fittings. Defining elements are the brown wooden room dividers with plants to improve the air quality.

This wooden material is used again at the corners, under the windows and wardrobes.

The dining areas consist of a light wooden material which stands out throughout the room.

Overall, a clear and warm lounge area is developed.

During the renovation process moisture remediation was necessary to guarantee the energy standard.

The acoustics of the room were improved and the blinds on the windows were redesigned.

BauWerke provided full architectural services, from the design to the execution planning, tender, artistic management, as well as construction surveillance.
