Article source: Tobi architects A snow-white, strict house stands on a vast plot, surrounded by pine forests. Spacious and minimalistic, it is designed to unite with nature, rest and contemplation. The architecture of the building is based on a contrasting combination of its horizontal volumes and verticals of surrounding pines. Thus, the whole house – is a perfect viewing platform.  Image Courtesy © Tobi Architects On the first floor these are a family area with a living room, a large kitchen and a dining room opened onto the terrace. On the second floor there are master bedroom with a separate wardrobe and bathroom, and three rooms for children. The entire surface of the roof above the first floor – is terrace, from which you can see the whole plot. In the rest it was complete freedom to design the house, because there are no neighbors or terrain. We decided to make this house completely white, because at sunset the shadows from pines fall beautifully on its smooth walls. The interior of the house is warm and refined.
