Article source: 317studio This residential project is located at a half-way down the hill. On the 23th floor of the building, the view outside is at a perfect height to watch over bushy tree tops and peak. We asked ourselves how to maximize the relationship between inside and outside? When we look up at the building, it’s just like a tree house, Like” an imagine of tree floating in the air”.
In this project, we aimed to create the connection between the interior and the outside world by rethinking the circulation of the space. We arranged an area by the door which became the connection of the space, when the door is open, It connects up the vision of the house, and also strings all segments together, study room, living room, bedroom and the outside environment. Furthermore, to create pureness, simplicity and openness within the entire space, we put the simplest material to show the expression extruded the texture of wood to the visual tension. Thus the space is able to bring the nature green into life, create the intimacy between human and surroundings, and also change the way of interaction amongst the space user. Contact 317studio
