N10-House「House with View terrace」is design project located in a slightly elevated hill site on high density housing area in central part of Fukuoka City.

By highlighting the terrace and entrance wall with red cedar and tile finish, and by giving a white color finish to the parapet and half wall that extruded 2 meter away from the inner wall, it delivers a modern design with sense of three dimensionality.

At night the white mass of the building appear as if it floating in the air as the lighting turned on.

Entering the house one can see from entrance through a big windows how tender light penetrate from outside along with vegetation welcoming the family and guest entering the house.The first floor composed of parking area and private room, The red cedar wall and stairs cantilevered on it creating a warm and gentle space, together with indirect lighting comes from bottom part of the handrail producing overall ambience of the space.

By utilizing tempered glass as partition elements on entrance hall and living dining on 2nd floor it brings a sense of openness to the whole space.

By applying red cedar finishes on one part of the wall in the living dining spaces it gives a sense of unity with the external appearance with its sense of composure.The cross pattern indirect lighting on the ceiling runs through the wall down to the floor、together with the indirect lighting of kitchen counter creating the overall mood and modern ambience of the room.

Terrace balcony that connected directly to the living and dining is delivering sense of openness and bring in the potential view of surrounding environment to the interior space of the house.

N10-House「House with View terrace」connected with the scenery of the environment、designed in hope that family can spend a good times together within the house safely with ease of mind, and sense of proud on their houses.
