The Ceresio Valley is, from the environmental point of view, beautiful and rich in vegetation. The house is situated on a slope with the best exposure and opens up the sun and the landscape, making it enter through large windows.
House NM rises on the sunny side of Ceresio Valley, opening itself to the landscape and letting natural light come in through large windows.
The basement transforms the site in a close dialogue with the terrain morphology Characterized by ancient terraces, gaining the parking space for vehicles underground and creating the platform where the house was built. A garden rich in local tree species and marked by the use of native stones completes the house design.
A large lime tree growing on the south-west corner of the property determines the exact position of the building and guards its entrance.
The home is organized to enjoy as much as possible the panorama; a deep loggia protects the door and prevent the summer overheating of the living room, while in winter warm natural light enters freely inside the house.
