This is an original hand-made coffee maker and boutique coffee experience shop located in Shanghai. We understand this store as a world about “time.” Coffee beans are alive, making, grinding, extracting, and every step of a cup of coffee requires patience and concentration. It is also a quiet world. Time is quietly flowing here. The components of this world are mainly wood, the life that condenses into time. A metal curved display frame is drawn across the right wall. The space is always developed in a binary way, moving and static, just and soft, inside and outside, positive and negative. This gives the entire space a certain tension. The inner side is a quieter communication area. The parts of the two spaces are half hidden, and a gable hides the space inside. The construction is mainly made of wood, or splicing or stacking. It is a relatively straightforward way to reveal the texture of the wood. These wood grain can make people feel the power of time. The two wooden boards stacked on the table show the appearance of the wood just after being processed. The original material is another state that appears after the artificial, natural and artificial. This contrast and combination is consciously arranged, and it is formed in this space. The unity of a certain form and concept. Thought can make people travel through space to a wider world. Time More! !
