Article source: Meritxell Ribé – The Studio Room An Integrated Project of Interior Design, Decoration and execution of 300 m2 in which we have obtained a wider, luminous and open spaces. In the central area of Barcelona, the owners wanted to optimize the existing space and obtain a better distribution of the house to create homogeneous and fluid areas.  Image Courtesy © Meritxell Ribé – The Studio Room The different natural woods with hydraulic pavements and the recovery of old doors, the whitewashed walls, recovered trimmings… add an eclectic and contemporary touch to the house. Light and flat colors are combined with others with more character such as: black, purple and dark green, which play with the selected elements. The living room is characterized by marbles and complements with golden touches that create a perfect dialogue that plays with the dining area. Delimited by a hydraulic pavement and with the protagonist of a central island with a suspended lamp, it allows to create a comfortable environment. The kitchen is open to the dining room and is separated from the living room by recovered glass cases. The furniture, together with the different accessories, adding character following the style coordinated with the house.
