On a return to the origins, the challenge of a tricky complex site waits for us, these that lead to the best projects. A small village full of irregularity, with a field of view marked by miscellaneous rooftops.
In the distance the impressiveness of the city tower contrasts with the featureless construction on the side.
Reacting to the intricacy of the place, seeking coherence and chasing the surrounding logic, a responsible integration is reached. The form mimics the surroundings, the materials bring the newness, the house acquires its own identity .. Unique!
Forced to align with the neighbor, leaning against it, losing the notion of its presence. Creating a patio we managed to “delay” the house, the first bound – Scenic – leaves a mark in the land and allows the real entrance, intimate, warm, almost confidential, becoming a special moment of limited access for those who really arrive.
The house with a simple scheme, hangs in a huge corridor working as a spine, cracked by light and darks, by transparent and opaque, it becomes part of the living spaces – a sensorial experience!
At the arrival, two ways. The Work, in the office at the foot of the city, touching the street, lives to it. The Social, discrete, intimate, enjoying the landscape, listening the quietness of a village invaded by the true sounds of nature, experiencing an inside-out equilibrium. At the end – the rooms – private and reserved – peaceful.
