The building in question has its access made by two streets at different levels, the main access being through Rua do Corpo Santo and the secondary through Rua do Ferragial, which is at a height of 7 meters. This difference originates two semi-buried floors, below the ground of Rua do Corpo Santo.

It is a construction of the century. XVIII, being perfectly framed in the Lisbon urban network characteristic of the centuries. XVIII and XIX. The building consists of 6 floors, with the first two being dedicated to commerce and the remaining four to dwellings. The stores have access only to the Largo do Corpo Santo, and through the central stairs, the houses will keep the double access from the Rua do Ferragial and from Rua do Corpo Santo, preserving the link between the highest and the highest quota downtown.

At the store level on the first two floors, a recovery of the pavement was made up of large stone slabs, as well as of the vaulted edge supported by pillars, reinforced by transverse arches, which are characteristic of the Pombaline building of the time. Also maintained and recovered the atrium in stone, from the street of Corpo Santo.

Each apartment floor gives rise to two houses, as is believed to be the initial situation of the building. Only the last floor (in mansard) is changed, happening to be organized in the form of duplex with the bottom floor, floor +3.

In the interior, the houses are characterized by the great attention to detail, creating warm, cozy and contemporary environments with the use of the wood in its natural state, in different elements as the interior stairs, headwaters, estates.

The cover is retains its shape but is repositioned to increase the living area, and to create a small terrace with stunning views over the Tagus River. Its façades were recovered, maintaining all the architectural foundation of Pombal, in particular with regard to the structural metrics established, the regular dimensioning of the elements that comprise it namely, window frames, stone masonry and metal guards that were maintained and recovered.
