Article source: KUBE Architecture PC The main level of this three storey residence was completely remodeled in order to unify the living spaces and open the interior to views of the park with new floor to ceiling doors and windows. The kitchen was reconfigured to take advantage of the views and is anchored to the open family room by a black cube which contains mechanical equipment, closets, liquor shelves and a powder room.
The formal dining room was relocated to the opposite side of the house, where it shares the space with a home office hidden from view by a viroc clad wall. The home’s exterior received a face lift which included all new cladding and roofing. The entry was redesigned to be more open, allowing more light to enter the vestibule. A steel trellis unifies the garage and the front door. In the rear, decks were re-configured to become outdoor rooms. A folding NANA wall door and a polycarbonate roof are used in the main deck to create an exterior living space which blends seamlessly the interior and exterior. Materials used inside and out are Viroc, Hardie panel, polygal canopies, steel railings, NANA wall, mdf panels and LED strip lighting. Contact KUBE Architecture PC
