Casa Cobogó in Goiânia, Brazil by Leo Romano

Monday, March 25th, 2019

Article source: Leo Romano

The house was designed for a couple (he businessman, she housewife) with two children.

The idea was to greatly value leisure and socializing areas. It is a project of 560m2 that we developed from the beginning, also in a horizontal condominium.
The house has a feature that closely approximates Modernist architecture, which are these lines more straight and minimalist.

We called the house of Cobogó because one of the façades, which opened onto the street, was framed with this “Cobogó Casa”, which is also a drawing of the architect.

The lower part of the house (ground floor) is all integrated with a large investment in the gourmet and leisure area – pool, beach and sauna.

Rombo IV in Mexico City, Mexico by Miguel Ángel Aragonés

Monday, March 25th, 2019

Article source: Miguel Ángel Aragonés

Los  Rombos are four bodies assembled together with the formal accident generated by the urban fabric. It is a private space with three houses and a studio, in a central and wooded area of Mexico City called Bosques de las Lomas, with a continuous interaction with the tree; it is perhaps our most present and, in any case, the most immersive guest, just like the broad continuity of water. Fountains and mirrors are a constant natural resource in which the reflection sharpens the environment, in this (case) almost always green: as in almost all highly populated cities, the tree is a precious asset, as well as vegetation, water, land and even more intimacy nowadays…

Omnicos cosmetics in Crema, Italy by Beppe Riboli Studio

Article source: Beppe Riboli Studio

Three different architectures describe a unique architectonic scenery.

1. The Headquarter

I wanted it to be a light, suspended architecture, like a swarm of butterflies.

It’s a manifest, communicates the company’s philosophy and creativity.

The box- esternal skin is crossed and supported by sinuous waves, to form spaces, empty and full, offices, gardens, terraces.

Here everything is white, clean, aseptic.

Inventronics Tonglu Production Factory (Phase1) in Tonglu County, China by GLA

Binary Sites and the Strategy of Appearing and Disappearing

The Inventronics Tonglu LED driver production base is located among the beautiful landscapes of Fuchun Mountains depicted in Huang Gongwang’s Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains. The land is adjacent to the No. 320 national highway linearly, and is approximately 4 kilometers away from the main urban area of Tonglu. The site was originally a suburban village and farmland, but in recent years, with the urbanization process, the interior and exterior of the site have presented two different looks – the neat and uniformed industrial park in development beyond the red line and the quite rustic and primitive fish ponds, tea mountains and other farming civilizations within the site form a sharp contrast.

The Phase I cluster of the project has been completed and put into operation, whose contour is relatively square, with flat ground, and surrounded by roads; the Phase II land in construction in the north side includes ponds, streams and tea mountains, where the environment is beautiful featuring comely landscapes. The binary site conditions necessitate the collision of large-scale industrial production logics and the organic natural environment, activating the design scheme of the unity of opposites of appearing and disappearing.
