99.2 m2 detached residence built in a northeastern corner lot.

Built according to a plan placing it in an urban area densely packed with 20-30 year old residences built in rows and with reconstructions gradually pushing forward forming a typical landscape you might see anywhere.

All the residences undergoing reconstruction around the area are 3 story residences due to height restrictions and come off as cramped, which made it difficult to see this style of construction as appealing.

Therefore, 5 floor levels were installed within the living spaces of 2 stories, dividing up the space into the minimum levels of necessary function and constructing rooms out of assemblages of smaller spaces.

Due to the installation of spaces without built in appliances, these durable residential spaces may be used in any number of ways affording them the flexibility to adapt to changes in lifestyle.

Our goal was to fully construct an unrestricted living space without storied construction incorporating rough and tough raw materials throughout the materials used in both the framework and groundwork.
