Article source: v2com Céragrès, an importer and distributor of ceramics, natural stone and high-end plumbing fixtures, is continuing its expansion by opening its seventh Boutique Workspace – its first location in Laval, a large city just North of Montreal. Once known for its industrial parks, Laval’s urban fabric is undergoing a profound transformation, particularly in its mushrooming furniture, décor and renovation sector. Céragrès is joining the biggest brands in the fast-changing city, offering clients a strategic access point to its products.
The Art of Living Located in a new hub focused on the art of living, near Le Centre and Carrefour Laval, the new Céragrès space occupies more than 9,000 square feet, more than twice the average size of its other locations, making this Boutique Workspace a flagship location for the brand. Together with partners including Must, Jardin de Ville, C&M Textiles, La Bête à Pain and Prune les fleurs, in May Céragrès is launching an innovative retail concept, in which boundaries are erased in favour of fluid movement between the different company spaces, offering the consumer a liberated and integrated experience – not only a buying experience, but a recreational one. The different companies have one thing in common: a focus on design and the art of living. More spaces – and more products In keeping with the move to centralized access, Céragrès is also expanding its offerings. A leader in ceramics and natural-stone countertops for nearly 30 years, with the addition of high-end plumbing fixtures in 2015, and more recently kitchen and bathroom accessories, Céragrès is today introducing a new range of complementary products made of wood. Several species, including white oak and maple, are now among the floor coverings available exclusively from Céragrès Laval. Focusing on innovation, each month the company will add several cutting-edge products inspired by the latest European trends. Very large (5’ x 10’) ceramic tiles, for example, are among the latest new products to discover. Inspiring showcases More than a simple store, Céragrès Laval is a fully integrated showroom where carefully curated products are displayed through exclusive and varied displays featuring noble and contemporary materials. In the 9,000-plus sq. ft. space, the sheer number of products on display will stimulate the senses. There are several model bathrooms and three full kitchens, demonstrating some of the countless possible combinations of materials, styles, colours, patterns and textures. Thanks to these turnkey worlds, the space becomes a living and inspiring place. User-friendly workspaces The workspace concept is given its ultimate expression in the new Laval store. A comprehensive materials library is paired with workspaces that retail customers, and especially design and architecture professionals, can occupy and use freely. As Céragrès founder and manager Guy Gervais explains, “We wanted to offer designers a pleasant workspace where they can, either with our advisors or on their own, be inspired, plan, draw, see and touch samples, all in a comfortable setting with some great coffee.” Contact Ceragres
