This 10,000 square foot home is designed for a family of three with a vast community and a penchant for entertaining. Our goal was to optimize the space for both events and privacy, taking into account the various ways in which homeowners and guests alike will interact with the space.

Located on an elevated, 10-acre lot with direct sightlines to downtown Denver, the Boulder Flatirons, Red Rocks, and Pikes Peak—the architecture features a series of cantilevered volumes strategically placed to maximize views while echoing the long lines of the surrounding environment.

Key features:
Dramatic entrance with porte-cochere and grand staircase
Central, open kitchen with south-facing floor-to-ceiling glass walls that open to an outdoor patio, fire pit, pool and sculpture garden
A second-floor 1,000 square foot event space with adjacent terrace
Extended overhangs to support indoor-outdoor connection
