Article source: AB Curated The proposal for this project was to create a stylish zen space for a young international family with two small children in the heart of Barcelona. Used to living in the countryside, they wanted their love for nature to be present in their urban dwelling as well and, above all, that it conveyed their personal taste and lifestyle.
In order to achieve this, we started by changing the apartment’s initial layout into an interactive living space with the kitchen at its heart. By opening up former closed-off spaces we were able to bring in more natural light and create an organic flow throughout the space. We then opted for a décor in soft muted hues, using natural materials and various textures, which all complemented the apartment’s old Catalan vault ceiling. By incorporating key pieces of art as well as commissioned macramé and stoneware the space was given a homely and welcoming feel. The family loves it! Share this:RelatedContact AB Curated
