The request of the owners, a young couple, was to build a house that could reflect themselves and was appropriate for the modern rhythms of a family.
The main problem of the apartment, located on the third floor with a terrace, was to be organized in a very fragmented way, with an oversized entrance, a closed kitchen and a dimly lit living room.

The project concerns the reorganization of the internal space in order to define a sequence of well-balanced and comfortable environments. The entrance is characterized by an equipped wall in anthracite shades and is designed as a filter for the living area.

The main idea was to have a bright and continuous environment in which the large kitchen with island and the dining room with the library-bridge define and furnish the living area.

The custom-made wooden bookcase extends over the entire wall, also integrating the entrance to the bedroom. The furnishing components, refined and classy, reflect the taste of the owners and, along with the custom-made elements, give the house an elegant and contemporary atmosphere.

The pillar had a barycentric disposition in the initial planimetry but now, thanks to the reorganization of the rooms, has acquired a dividing function and, through customized wooden works, has also been rethought as a piece of furniture.

This clear succession of environments is emphasized by the lighting created with recessed spotlights of various sizes. The main bedroom has a walk-in closet and is in line with the color choices of the living area; besides, it is enriched by a large glass opening that allows a visual connection with the tub.

The bathroom is embellished on the back wall and on the floor with a dark-colored marble cladding that stands out clearly from the warmer shades of the parquet in the other rooms.
