Article source: DIN interiorismo A new image and character were the reasons that set up the remodeling project for this hotel. Taking advantage of its location, DIN interiorismo´s team —directed by interior designer Aurelio Vázquez found in the contraction of the word Tenayuca the new name: Ten. Focusing on this numerology ten different zones represented by hundreds were generated: 100, 200, 300 and so on.
To each numbering block was assigned its own color palette and inside of the rooms the representation of this figure in roman numbers is transformed into the elements that give the aesthetic language resulting in a different personality for each one. Mirrors with organic forms and big format make the space move, adding to this dynamic the different type of floors that go from black and white stripes to stone and wood like tiles. To reinforce the feeling of openness in the rooms, the shower was left completely surrounded with glass flanked by the stair that gives access. Two pieces of furniture were also custom designed, an armchair and a padded vertical element with a high erotic charge, that along with a little bench inside of the shower, enrich the rooms equipment where the idea to spend the night is transformed in the atmosphere where a fantastic adventure will be enjoyed.
