Article source: Studio Perri Tenants are a couple in their 30s, an accountant and engineer, and their three children (7 years old, 9 years old and 1 year old).The house is a private house of 290 sq.m. built on a half-acre lot.
The house is spread over three floors and is divided into two separate residential units, The photographed house is the one where the family lives in.On the ground floor you can find the guest toilet, a living room with an exit to the courtyard, a dining area and a kitchen with an exit that includes an outdoor hospitality table. Upstairs is a master suite with en-suite bathroom, three children’s rooms, a games room with work area and a children’s bathroom with laundry-area. The design inspiration was a modern country house combining dominant natural materials like kurkar stone, iron and wood. The designers have designed unique carpentry for all the interiors of the house which continues and refines the new style. The dining room wall and pillar support in the public space are covered with wild kurkar stone from dismantling, the multi-functional library was built of iron and oak veneer and the kitchen is built of oak. Concrete-like granite tiles cover all floor spaces except for the bedrooms, and the resulting appearance is clean and fresh look that serves as a background for the more warm materials. The entrance to the house was changed and a multi-use carpentry unit made of iron and oak veneer was created, creating a pleasant foyer.In the living room, furniture was combined with minimalist lines, with a work of art putting a colorful wink on it.The bright dining area sets the stage for a wall of wild kurkar stones from disassembly.
