Article source: Architect Ana Rozenblit This house, located in São Paulo, Brazil, has 730m² and belongs to journalist Monica Salgado, who had just left an apartment in search of a house that would provide her with more spacious spaces, contact with nature and freedom to relax with much more comfort. The client’s request was to obtain cozy environments, with touches of color, that followed a romantic and vintage line, a style that defines her personality a lot. The house, which was previously more rustic, did not please the resident, who hired architect Ana Rozenblit, from the Spaço Interior office, to reformulate all interior design. As there was no need for a break-break, the starting point was to invest in a creative, versatile and original decoration that would take advantage of the furniture that the client wanted to bring from the apartment.
A painting by Flávia Junqueira acquired by the client, especially for the house, was the starting point for the elaboration of the project. Arranged in the lobby, it shares space with black Breton bars, making an impact and providing a striking look, with a lot of elegance. In the front room, a retrofit was carried out on the built-in bookcase, which was already part of the property, Ana complemented with decorative objects from the LS Selection store, in addition to some plants, to give life to the space. The coffee table by Reinaldo Loureço, signed for Breton and the carpet by By Kamy, composes the environment with the curved green sofa, and the pink chairs, which already belonged to the resident. For the living room, the client asked for some furniture from the old apartment to be reused as well, such as the leather armchair and the carpet, both from Westwing. But the great acquisition for this environment was the L-shaped sofa by Breton, which received a coating in the color Marsala, by Quaker, leaving the piece even more powerful, sharing space with the floor lamp of Studio Saba. The palette chosen for the coverings, on the other hand, has the shade of blue on the walls and the black applied on the doors and jambs, giving a versatile air, with personality and sophistication. The couple’s dormitory also received pieces coming from the old apartment, such as the pink sofa, the client’s declared passion, the screen and the black rack, which are also darlings of the couple. The architect designed the new headboard and opted for the shade of green, which contrasted with the neutral base of the environment, in addition to being one of the client’s favorite colors. The boy’s room already had the complete joinery, which received shades of blue on the wall and joinery, also being present in the bed linen. The layout of the room made it possible to optimize the distribution of the furniture, since it is a small environment. The balcony had a retrofit process, which modernized the space and prioritized good circulation. It received neutral elements, such as the Westwing chairs, and the sofa, which was already owned by the client, and which received a white covering. Contact Architect Ana Rozenblit
