The international firm ARK Architects stands out for the 100% sustainable construction in their projects, as well as a detailed study of gardening projects, creating villas in close contact with nature. This firm (which operates in areas such as Miami, in the USA) is acknowledged as having a unique way of fusing exteriors and interiors. This is once again evident in its new project recently launched: Seven Gardens is a new high-end home built in the heart of Sotogrande (Malaga).

ARK Architects designs and builds projects in many countries around the world, however in areas such as Costa del Sol, its emblematic premium homes are an inherent part of the area, and they are fully integrated into the landscape. We find a new example of this in this new project. Seven Gardens  stands out for a unique and particular identity, as well as an intelligent design made by highest quality materials. The gardens of the villa show how important is nature, landscape and outdoor spaces to Manuel Ruiz Moriche, author of the project.

Simplicity and timelessness are two features often sought after by ARK clients, a company that bears the signature of Manuel Ruiz Moriche, known as the “architect of nature and light”. We can have a look at projects such as Seven Gardens to understand why. As a lover of ample spaces, his designs are conceived as works of art in which craftsmanship merges with the futuristic, where architecture embraces indoor and outdoor spaces in perfect harmony. It is a villa to enjoy nature and isolate the environment that surrounds it. The ultimate goal is, as is often the case with ARK Architects ‘projects, to stimulate the senses and generate unique emotions, thanks to the attention to the smallest details in an elegant game between visible and invisible.

The gardens in ARK’s villas act as intermediaries  between the architecture and the place where they are built. Not surprisingly, the architectural firm specializes in the design and construction process of luxury residences. For them, it is essential that the project merges perfectly with nature. “The profile of the client who looks for us is not a lover of show or appearances. They are instead looking for privacy and discretion, but they do not renounce exclusivity and excellence. The return to natural life, the fact that sunlight or the sea breeze can be also elements of their homes is considered an increasingly valued luxury for them,” explains Manuel Ruiz Moriche, creative director of ARK Architects.

One trend that architects have noticed in recent years, especially after the pandemic has arrived,  is that more and more clients are seeking a deeper connection to nature without having to leave their homes. These are individuals and families who demand a more sustainable lifestyle in  which nature and peace are the primary hosts in the home. Integrating nature into the home not only helps to create an environment that breathes calm, but also influences the energy efficiency of the house. Inserting green roofs, vertical gardens or plant walls will make the construction more sustainable: one of the main goals of this international architectural firm.
