Article source: SP Estúdio This duplex apartment, located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, has 161 m² and is located in a building of IdeaZarvos, a São Paulo developer that develops high-end residential and commercial projects. The property that had already been inhabited, received a very special attention so that the new project would look like the new residents, a young couple, with a small son and a dog. With a modern and cool style, customers wanted cozy and personality environments.
The original plant had the closed kitchen, which was not much the profile of customers, who like large spaces and easy circulation, so it was integrated into the room and received a new floor, which invades the wooden floor of the room, creating a beautiful drawing. In addition, the pillar was highlighted, leaving the exposed concrete, which gained a neon to give even more prominence. The living room has a metal bookcase that comes out of the kitchen counter and brings decoration pieces with a lot of family history, the atmosphere of a real home spreads throughout all environments. The TV room gained cement coating on one wall and some works of art on the other, always with vibrant colors and a lot of personality. The veranda, on the other hand, gained a vertical garden across the double height, composing the metal bookcase that houses the couple’s plants. A swing set in the ceiling with vibrant color becomes almost a piece of decoration, framing the view to the green of the neighborhood. The social bathroom, located on the first floor, but which is used as a toilet, has been tiled in color and graphics, in addition to being very green inside the box area, since it is not used. On the upper floor we find the couple’s suite, which has a strip in light painting on all the walls, as well as a headboard and cabinet made to measure to meet their needs. On the same floor we have the playroom, with slate and boxes for toys and also the child’s room, with brick cladding and a special view of the vertical garden that comes downstairs and joins the whole house. The use of plants was an important point to give life to the project and bring nature into the home. The spot colors were also well thought out to harmonize the entire apartment. Contact SP Estúdio
