Article source: Beijing Puri Lighting Design Co.,LTD. This is an elegant and exquisite hotel, a hotel makes you feel warm. I believe every guest arriving here will feel the same as me. Light creates warmth, and warmth touches you. What should the light of the Hilton flagship store look like? Warm, advanced, and change with the needs of emotions. Let’s have a brainstorm and start this wonderful journey of design collision with interior designer Mr. Yang.
The hotel is located in the foreign business area of Liangjiang New District. The overall lighting environment of the entire area is relatively \”clean\” without much light pollution. Considering the simple shape of the building, we chose a simple linear light to link the ground to the top of the building, extending the effect of the crown on the top. The line light starts at the corrugated hemline awning and extends upward to the crown on the top, which is the open-air bar area of the hotel. The architect designed a rich changing effect for the ground floor of the hotel. The awning on the ground floor of the building is like a swaying skirt, and the highlight of the swaying is the entrance of the hotel. To make the “swaying skirt” more elegant, we installed small spotlights combined with the vertical structure of the curtain wall at the edge. All power supply and control lines are integrated into the curtain wall as a whole. Here, we work closely with architects and curtain wall engineers. Approaching the entrance awning, you will see the perforated metal plate starts dancing on the floor. In order to emphasize this “action”, we placed an underground floodlight at the moment of “dancing” to tell the audiences and let them know she is dancing. Apart from the functional downlights, there are optical fibers that render the atmosphere. Through the perforated plate, these fibers flicker like fairy tales. This is the ground floor of the lobby, which is a transitional space. The real hotel lobby is set on the 33rd floor. Therefore, here should be a bright and welcoming atmosphere. The interior designer designed the ceiling shape with geometric changes here, and our lighting method also continues this way. We chose wide-angle luminaires to try to make this space evenly illuminated. There are also modern artworks here. Even though it is a space in pursuit of uniform illuminance, the accent lighting of the artworks is also indispensable. In addition, there is a changing ceiling embedded with luminous lights. The artwork in the front hall of the banquet expresses the artist’s pursuit of Chongqing culture. The lighting of the artworks is the key to the atmosphere of the hotel and is indispensable. The banquet hall is often the key to evaluate a hotel, and it is also a test for the lighting designers. As a lighting designer, it is not easy to coordinate the illuminance relationship between decorative chandeliers and functional downlights. A close communication with the interior design and accurate calculations are needed in this process. Of course, the most important part is the perception of experience. This is the elevator hall leading to the lobby, where exciting stories begin. There are beautiful artworks and exquisite decorative materials here. The lights are designed in hidden areas, leaving you a good impression on the artworks, instead of the lights. This is a hotel full of modern elements, and the lobby has sufficiently reflects the sense of modernity. The facade is composed of varying geometric shapes, matched with luminous light strips. The background wall of the reception desk is a multimedia modern art, of course, it also has a positive impact on the light environment of the space. Honestly, in today’s world where diversification is taking the main position, this is a very successful design. The highlight, of course, is the art installation floating in the air. In order to render this art work, we placed adjustable-angle downlights in groups, with partial rendering and partial blanking. The ups and downs of the body, combined with the ups and downs of the light and shadow, finally present a charming effect. The illuminance of the lobby bar changes evenly. In order to create a comfortable conversation space, our overall color temperature is determined to be 2700K. The key illuminance is concentrated in the sofa area, artwork area and reception area, and other areas are treated in a relaxing way, as it, from the very beginning, is a space for relaxing. Compared with the lobby bar, all-day dining restaurant has a stronger sense of “relaxation”. With other ambient lights in the environment, the overall feeling of the space is more complete. Yes, space is never a one-word answer, lighting neither. It is a rich and layered combination. For example, in addition to the necessary functional lamps on the ceiling, the interior designer has also designed exquisite and decorative chandeliers on the dining table by the window. Their presence makes the space more vivid. This is a restaurant setting inside a special \”hole\”, a hole enclosed by the characteristic wall that matches the lighting atmosphere. After passing through the hole, you will arrive at the interior of the Southeast Asian-style restaurant. The combination of metal wall and light strip is delicate and thoughtful. There are \”ripples\” with metallic luminouson undulating on the specially designed wall. The bar is on the 34th floor of the hotel, and the luminous stairs will take you to a fantastic world. In the rooftop open-air bar, you can enjoy the colorful night view of Chongqing. The racks in the space are the \”crown\” in the hotel’s facade lighting, and the small cast lights on these interlaced metal lines are used in conjunction with the outside lighting. A swimming pool is set up on the 31st floor of the hotel. Here, we pursue a uniform and safe lighting environment. The lighting in the corridors of the guest rooms balances atmosphere and practicality. On the side of the core tube, we use linear light sources to guide people, and the room number and entrance are all set up with accent lighting for people’s to clear identification. There are also some decorative lighting systems. All these are combined to make the corridor full of luxury and modern atmosphere. There is a gentle light strip on the background wall of the room, which uses the reflection of the ceiling to enrich the space with even and soft reflected light. It has also become an indispensable ambient light of the space. The decorative lighting of the room plays a vital role in setting off the overall atmosphere. The quality of the rooms is directly related to the experience of every guest. We are doing a lot here with all parties. The overall color of the bathroom is clean and refreshing, and the accent lighting at the bathtub emphasizes on the exquisite sanitary ware. The executive lounge is a place for guests to have a relatively private conversation, and the way of accent lighting is more suitable for this space, which is to create a sense of spatial hierarchy appropriately in the space. This is a hotel full of stories and love. We have worked with all parties for nearly 5 years. We have upgraded our relationship from partners to good friends. Excellent designers are always looking for opportunities to surpass themselves and make new breakthroughs. It is a very “painful” concession when the idea of advancing cannot be applied to the work for some reasons. Category: Hotel |
