This 200-square-meter project is a family holiday villa surrounded by forest and sea located in the Northern part of Iran.
The main goals of the design were to make benefit from this natural situation, to express the local villas in a modern way, and to respect the privacy of private and public spaces.
Hence, the project is divided into two connected pieces, one facing the sea and the other with the forest view. Therefore, these two divisions separated the private sector from the public sector and their connection joint was considered circulation space.
For allocating functions, the seafront section was designed for the main living room with a double-height ceiling, and the sea-facing section was designed to locate the bedrooms in two storeys, due to the need for a higher eye level.
Building’s form follows the local architecture using functional elements which are sloping roofs, stone platforms, fireplaces, and wide openings for air ventilation.
