Article source: Matú Arquitetura The dwellers asked to transform the standardized condo house into a comfortable and spirit family home. With the possibility to design the backyard and also the interior plan, the space integration was the main idea for this project. The couple, with their children, looking forward to better ambients who prioritized the wellness of a thruelly home.
What guided the project? What were the inspirations? Seeing the importance of the backyard as a family spot, the integration between living room and outside area were more than necessary. As a special request, the playroom was designed with furniture and custom designed carpentry, using modular boxes which are possible to transport to another room, helping to organize toys and other kids objects. Main points of the project With a necessity of organization, the children’s room and the playroom has a special task. The children’s request to sleep in the same room, made it possible to use another room just to design the playroom, which was easy to organize books and toys in a functional way. Curiosity The relationship between the living room and swimming pool creates a good provocation, where it was possible to keep the integration of them in a harmonic way. The family meetings happen in the backyard, where they use to play and chill with the daughters and friends.
