Espresso Embassy in Budapest, Hungary by sporaarchitects

Take a 80 square meter ground floor flat in the downtown of Budapest, and transform it into an artisanal coffee shop, for one of the world’s best baristas. The building is an urban palace, built in 1812, with beautiful classicist detail, structures of that period, today a residential house.

Coffee House chain: Space planning delivers extra kick to both brand and sales. The cooperation of Amerikka Design Office Ltd. and SOK’s Coffee House café chain began in spring 2011 and the first completed locations are being opened to the public in October and November 2011. In addition to an increase in customer seating and sales, emphasis has been put on space concept development work for Coffee House recognition as well as on the chain’s distinctive character and visibility.

MuMAC, Museum of Coffee Machine, was designed by Paolo Balzanelli owner of Arkispazio and Valerio Cometti founder of Valerio Cometti+V12 Design in order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Cimbali Group, the most important pofessional coffee machine manufacturer in the world, through its legendary brands LaCimbali and Faema.
