Reconstructing this 1980s building resolves the relationship with Finsbury Circus to the south and Eldon Street to the north, which became critical when Broadgate turned Eldon Street from a minor backwater into a busy pedestrian route.

Archi-Fiore in Gyeonggi-do, Korea by IROJE KHM Architects

Sunday, August 2nd, 2015

Article source: IROJE KHM Architects

  • Architectural flower

A great flower of metal masses, made of a minus curved surface is installed in ARCHI-FIORE as a concept using “pop art”, and by doing so I intended to enhance the identity of commercial buildings. To respond to context, to give identity as commercial building, the shape of this project has been curved shape like flower. We expect this complex building will be the architectural flower as land mark of this town.

Skyone Tower – A legend in the sky by M/s Creative Group

Friday, June 19th, 2015

Article source: M/s Creative Group

In today’s day and age, most of the architecture that surrounds us becomes a kind of background hum, to be noticed only when it is exceptionally striking. When our eyes move around in our surroundings, do we notice the box-shaped edifices that existed in the past or that one building that irks our imagination? The answer is clear and undeniable. A structure that speaks volumes through its design, the Skyone Tower reinforces the term “standing out in a crowd.” An inception of the Creative Group, the curious architects wanted to innovate a building that not only sustains the ability to influence the emotions of the human mind but also encapsulates functionality.

Colombia_325 in São Paulo, Brazil by TRIPTYQUE

Saturday, June 13th, 2015

Article source: TRIPTYQUE

Situated in the Jardins, a neighborhood that is undergoing radical change, in an avenue of intense traffic, this building, facing north, appears as an organic incarnation of the urban and natural “aggressions” suffered by a tropical city. The noise, the insulation and the intense traffic are the building materials that feed this project. In spite of its important aspect, the building is not  blind or deaf, but was born from the energy of its context, and uses it to re-qualify itself, as if in a boomerang effect .

Article source: RMTA

LEED Gold 2014 AIA Kansas Excellence in Architecture Honor Award

Long-time client Karbank Real Estate approached RMTA to generate design schematics for this 1968 commercial office building they were considering purchasing. Attracted to the mid-century character of this particular building and it’s prime location in town, the client wanted to re-use the existing structure. The design team was charged with maintaining that character while completely renovating and modernizing the 32,000-square-foot building.
