American International Group and the Seoul Metropolitan Government were partners in the development of this 507,075m2 / 5,458,153sf mixed-use project in which Arquitectonica designed the master plan, the architecture and portions of the interiors. The complex became a new hub for the financial, securities and insurance companies concentrated in Seoul. It features three international A-grade commercial office towers, a five-star hotel, three-level luxury retail mall, megaplex cinema complex, fine dining and drinking establishments and significant new outdoor public spaces. The site is located at the center of Yeouido Island, and will serve as a major pedestrian link between the subway station and Riverside and Yeouido Plaza Park.
The bulk of the future building was assigned by the size of the emptied site and the marks of the neighbouring buildings: 135×76 m, with the height of 68 m. The question was not so much about forming an original architectural image, as about development of the complex planning corresponding with world-wide criteria, which pretend to the class “A”, and an original façade solution, harmoniously grouping with “Mirax-Plaza” and at the same time emphasizing the independence of the new object.
The project has been carried out as a proposal to unify service units of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Besiktas Municipality, at district levels.
The project for the re-qualification and expansion of the new congress complex in Riva del Garda, winner of an international competition, is part of a broader programme aimed at promoting and valorizing the city and surrounding territory. The new building represents an important focal point and is inserted into the magnificent landscape in such a way as to both reflect and emphasize its distinguishing features.
The Avaricum project is located in a strategic space, on the threshold between the medieval and modern city. The new gateway to the heart of the city of Bourges, in central France, Avaricum reveals itself to the city as a development hub and a unique opportunity to strengthen the commercial appeal of the city centre. In the heart of the space, Arte Charpentier Architects and the Blatter architectural firm designed a major commercial and residential project. The complex extends the city’s existing pedestrian zone toward the north while alleviating the landscape discontinuities caused by post-war urban development.
Barkli Park is a residential complex with sport-center of Moscow Committee of Sport. It is situated in the neighborhood built mostly in soviet period, but on the border of the historical park named Ekaterininsky. There was a small sport-school on the site previously, so the developer had to compensate spaces for it in a new building. It means that architects had two clients on the same plot.

Studio Fuksas has been chosen to develop the preliminary design of the “Australia Forum”, a new and expanded convention center in Canberra
On the other side of the world, a nine-member judging panel unanimously rewarded the Italian excellence selecting Rome-based architects Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas with Guida Moseley Brown Architects to design a new and expanded convention centre located in the heart of Canberra, at one apex of the National Triangle that connects the new complex with the Parliament House and the Ministry of Defence.
Developed by Çarmıklı-Saruhan corporation, Savoy Ulus is a residential complex that consists of various types of apartments all designed to satisfy different types of living. With its modern architectural style, as well as exquisite services and facilities, the project breathes new life to the upscale Ulus area, a hilltop district of Istanbul that is home to many apartment complexes built back in the 80s and 90s.
The ideology behind the convertible interior design is to remove people from the crowdedness of Beylikduzu into a relaxing atmosphere where the families move freely in the sales office. Our client aim is to build a housing complex with an earth and nature friendly lifestyle by considering aesthetic values. Our main criteria in designing the interior of the complex were that the building excels in the structure and position of the functional layout together with smooth circulation organization.
