Excella Expert is located in an upcoming furniture hub in Worli, Mumbai that caters to all needs of the building industry. Drawing inspiration from international exhibitions that showcase luxe products in eclectic settings and are user-centric, the Excella experience centre is a one-stop shop for all kinds of interior requirements from materials, furniture, decor, lighting and much more. Conscious of the dynamic nature of the exhibitions, the design intent was to craft a space that adapts to the changing apparel, yet accommodates the showcase of each object on display. Hence, the interior is designed and detailed to act like a ‘shell’, taking a subdued aesthetic that elevates the exhibited item and adds to its experiential character.
In the municipality of Valkenburg in the heart of hilly South Limburg, you’ll find experience centre Par’Course. Here, various buildings form a multifunctional environment which consists of a gastronomy centre housed in a monumental old brewery, a cycling and sports centre along with the Shimano Experience Centre, and the Black Label Hotel. MoederscheimMoonen Architects, commissioned by project developer Wyckerveste, was responsible for the urban design and the design of the buildings.
The interior scenario is based on the idea of continuity from the past to the future. Built in mid-19th century the building organically combines its historical architectural legacy and cutting-edge functionality of the futuristic technical centre. Zifergauz is designed to embrace digital reality and advanced ideas. It stands at the site where under Peter the Great history took a new turn and the great Russian fleet saw its early days. The building was designed to vertically store the timber delivered for the needs of the Admiralty shipyards.
Jiuxi, a scenic spot on the west side of West Lake in Hangzhou, boasts fantastic natural landscape and cultural relics, and presents a poetic lifestyle. Connecting Qiantang River and West Lake, it integrates picturesque mountains and rivers with the aesthetics inherited from Song Dynasty. The name of the project is derived from the Jiuxi Scenic Spot. And the design displays Oriental charm in contemporary context.
Tangshan Blue Bay Town Project is located on the southeast coast of Leting County, Tangshan City and on the north side of Tangshan Bay International Tourism Island. As a commercial center of the project, the town center is located at the southwest corner of the project base, where Xiangying Road and Haijing Avenue join at 70 degrees in a narrow and long triangle land to define the land area with functions including life experience hall and community facilities.
As the first portal to communicate with city interface, we consider how to make the architecture efficient and reasonable: 1. A suitable site; 2. A landmark city interface; 3. Overall project architecture style to effectively connect neo Chinese style; 4. To create multi-layer public space and urban life.
The interface facing the city road is set with two strips and opens to the road intersection to form a display surface with an open frontcourt space and a shallow mirror pool as a buffer zone with the city environment, presenting a quiet and elegant posture.
The KPN building at the beginning of Wilhelminapier in Rotterdam was designed by Renzo Piano. It was the talk of the town upon completion in 1999, but by 2016 it had ceased to meet the user’s needs. With Piano’s consent, an extensive redevelopment by V8 was planned to breathe new life into the building. At ground level there is a huge entrance with public functions and business facilities; the tower has been converted from a traditional office building into a flexible and up-to-the-minute workplace. In its new incarnation the building has reconnected with the neighborhood and the city and is set to act as a catalyst of public life on the pier.
Adjacent to Suzhou Canal which has inherited the cultural context of the South of the Yangtze River for thousands of years, the project features elegant and humanistic aesthetics, and fully shows people's imaginations and pursuit of an elegant lifestyle.
The smell of books, the coordinated combination of terrazzo and wood, and subtle detailing, together create a soft, elegant and harmonious atmosphere in the overall space, with fascinating texture.
Real estate sales center is a kind of temporary architecture that can only last several months or few years at most, which is usually dismantled after houses are sold out. Even if it can be preserved in few cases, functions are completely transformed. Interior decoration of real estate sales centers is generally complicated, causing obstacles and waste of resources in the process of functional repurposement.
A cavern wonderland with marks of the former fishing village
Shangsha, is a unique urban village located in the young city Shenzhen, China. It used to be a coastal fishing village, which has developed along with the renewal of the city, while now it is witnessing the rising of C Future City. Through reflecting on the values that rooted in the village, CCD finally decided to take “marks of the fishing village” as the starting point for the design.
Situated at the central area of Shenzhen, Shangsha witnessed the rapid and continuous development of the city over years, and became a landmark that gathers numerous young people who are fighting for their future. With so many marks of the past left in this land, it’s a place which can give rise to people’s emotional resonance and provide sources for imagination.
SPACEMEN were commissioned to design an experiential centre for a first-of-its-kind premium lifestyle consultant and its ultra exclusive members-only club lounge. Due to the high profile of the clubs’ clientele an emphasis on discripency was of high importance.
Just like the smooth stroke of a calligraphy brush in motion, the entire flow of the space was designed so that clients can be swiftly guided upon arrival into their designated appointment areas and rooms. Transitioning between space to space will feel effortless and seamless.
