This 2.5 million s/f build-to-suit office campus on a 21-acre site will be a global financial firm’s largest office complex outside the United States and will serve as its India headquarters.
Three ten-story office blocks are unified at ground by a 150,000 s/f array of courtyards and common amenity functions including cafeteria, conference facilities, fitness and health centers, casual dining, formal and informal gathering spaces, and a transportation center which organizes arrivals and departures of employees via shared and private vehicles. Taking advantage of Bangalore’s favorable climate, the design strategy allows seamless use of indoor and outdoor spaces, closely integrating landscape and building.
Setting apart the new J&T headquarters from the neighbouring buildings is its appearance – inside and out.
The world of finance is made up of various elements that need to function and fit together flawlessly. The unbroken pattern of the façade mirrors this world.
The design of the façade is a juxtaposition of technological rationality and irregularity – an approach inspired by the works of important abstract painters and sculptors. The clear right angles are also repeated in the general layout of the interior. The original graphic design of the directional signs inside the building underscore this orthogonality. The design of the font and symbols as well as the linear geometry of the lighting are based on the façade’s distinct, graphic pattern.
The new headquarters of Zamasport – a brand among the pioneers of Italian prêt à porter – promotes a new relationship between technology, humans and environment. Evocative and sustainable, Frigerio Design Group’s architecture conveys a concept of wellbeing combining ethics and respect for the environment. Intended to house production and executive areas – offices, creative ateliers, test rooms and a part of production – the new building acts as a hinge between pre-existing buildings.
Farrells won the commission of this 47,000 sq.m. civic building project, a Hong Kong Government Design and Build contract, in 2013 as lead architectural consultant. The new Headquarters spans 16 floors and includes offices, vehicular area and ancillary facilities. Farrells handled meticulously the design of this new integrated complex which combines functionality, sustainability and aesthetics. We recognise the aspirations and the design drivers behind the masterplan and our proposal delivers and supports the high quality vision for the new Kai Tak area through the development of an architectural language and landscaped setting that adds to the overall greening of the area. The new Headquarters is a simple urban response to a complex brief. A play of composition and façade expression helps breaking down the mass while unifying various internal programmes. Its architectonic create various dialogues with the surrounding context, public realm and environmental responses. The new Kowloon East Regional Headquarters building takes off as an important part of the urban transformation of Kowloon East and as the gateway of the new Kai Tak city – setting a precedent and visionary picture of a new urban skyline.
The new headquarters built by Studio Bocchi for Flash Battery in Sant’Ilario d’Enza, in the province of Reggio Emilia, in Northern Italy, support the young company in its rapid and lively growth. The leap forward made by the start-up company, which in just a few years has become an internationally active and a leader in Italy for the production of lithium batteries equipped with advanced controls, with 60 employees and a yearly turnover of 14 million Euros, suggested the creation of new administrative and production headquarters capable of interpreting the identity and characteristics of the production.
As the place in which the transition from driver to pedestrian occurs, the 409,000-square-foot LA Garage is a nexus of activity for people arriving on campus. The design breaks up the typical parking structure mass, providing opportunities for daylight and creating a “wow” space in between: a public covered courtyard carved into the center of the building that encourages chance encounters, casual gatherings, and collaboration. Surrounded by three sides of backlit glass showing iconic Olympic athletes, the courtyard faces the campus daycare center. Employees and their children can experience playful elements incorporated into the design such as a slide into the courtyard, rubberized pyramids, a balance beam and a running track. Furthermore, bikes are provided in the courtyard to easily connect people in the space to the campus.

Nowadays, more and more clients, no matter how their scales are, intend to highlight their own unique features. In many cases, they provide detailed requests and many key aspects of the design concepts. Our job, based on these requests and concepts, is to discover the individual feature of each scenario and showcase the core of each brand owned by our clients.
This era embraces integration between design and art, work and life, beauty and practicality. Traditional boundaries and rules are broken, and lifestyle keeps evolving. A Boundless and Ideal Life Experience Center at CCD Headquarters was created under such context. It sits on 48F of a high rise in Shenzhen a key part of the Greater Bay Area. By combining a playful spirit of exploration with technological elements, the project shows a creative and fantastic image.
