A+ animal hospital in Seoul, Korea by JHY Architects & Associates

Tuesday, June 18th, 2013

Article source: JHY Architects & Associates

A+ animal hospital interior design ventures what values atypical design could make in 53㎡, offering an utilitarian furniture fit into the programs. It was a critical challenge to make a spacious amusement place for pets, even 5 clinic rooms are necessary to operate the hospital. It was a main concern that the interior image from a street produces a symbol of A+ animal hospital as well as atypical design language produces all the required space in 53㎡. It was important to re interpret programs as much as to design space efficient furniture.

University Hospital Cafeteria in Seville, Spain by Sol89

Breaking, folding and inserting. The Hospital is a cluster of activity and subjected to continuous flow changes. The intervention takes the estrangement as a starting point: we decided to insert a single continuous element, bent and broken, which defines, as opposed to the perimeter of empty space available, the area of medical staff and a series of courtyards perched to become new objects for contemplation.

Wednesday, April 24th, 2013

Article source: SV60 Arquitectos

The old hospital was presenting a conventual domestic cloister altered by successive interventions and that was preserving the optical sense of the wall and the value of intimacy in the perimeter structures. The transformations on the original convent during the hospital period have been hiding part of the past structures and the conventual decoration.
